Linda Carole has been an artist all her life. When she was younger, she used colored chalk and construction paper to copy portraits of covers from fashion magazines. She graduated from college with a BA in speech and communications, but her talents took her far from that field and into artistic endeavors. Looking for a way to express her style, she attended various classes and workshops never quite finding a medium she could master. She was introduced to decorative painting and was delighted to get the technical training for which she had been looking. From there, she worked in her own studios and for others, as well as furniture companies, decorating furniture and accessories. Lately, Linda has been concentrating on portraiture and other commissions.

When she started working on her fine arts degree, she was delighted. She has participated in workshops and classes from other professionals in painting, etching and ceramics. She doesn’t think her desire for more education will stop any time soon. Linda has been teaching privately for many years in her own studios and others.
